Everybody's Talking About Jamie Tickets

London Musical
Come see why Jamie is the talk of the town.
Inspired by a true story, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is the hit musical for today. Jamie New is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn’t quite fit in. Jamie is terrified about the future. He is going to be a sensation. Supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight. Layton Williams (Bad Education, Beautiful People) joins the cast as the NEW Jamie New, returning to the West End stage after playing the title role in Billy Elliot the Musical. Together with Rebecca McKinnis, he is joined by Hayley Tamaddon, best known for her roles in Coronation Street and Emmerdale, Sejal Keshwala, Sabrina Sandhu and special guest star of stage and screen, Shane Richie, Eastenders’ very own Alfie Moon. They lead a twenty-five strong company and a nine-piece band that will ‘sweep you away on a tide of mischief, warmth and exuberance’ (Financial Times). With ‘songs that have the wow factor’ (The Times) by lead singer-songwriter of The Feeling, Dan Gillespie Sells, and ‘hilarious’ book and lyrics ‘with delightful punch’ (Whatsonstage), by writer Tom MacRae, this funny, fabulous, feel-good, musical sensation has been wowing audiences and critics alike.

Superb new musical which is original, appropriate for the current issues, phenomenal singing, dancing and the characters are so energised I am definitely coming back to watch it again. I brought my daughter who had this as her 16th birthday present and she wasn’t disappointed. I have never witnessed such a brilliant standing ovation! Just wow!

Beautiful, funny, different! Particularly loved the mother, whose solo made us all cry. The new 'Bring him home'! Truly well done.

Watched the Tv documentary on BBC3 which inspired us to see this show. Amazing, emotional and funny all in one show. Everyone should see this show for a great day out and educate about how much hate, discrimination gay people get.

The show was really funny and Jamie was so good. He has a great career before him. There aren‘t many catchy songs, the show is more like a play. But good anyway. I did enjoy the performance.

Love the story! The music and lyrics are not fantastic enough for a show about drag. I wish it had been better but am glad I saw it.

As much as I love the idea of the story, I think the feelings were forced and it didn't flow in a natural way, and I am sorry but the cast for Jamie is totally wrong, you never connect with him. He's acting is lineal and never grows on you. If you want to see something like this but good, go and see Kinky Boots.
