Falsettos Tickets

London Musical
Broadway musical Falsettos to receive its long-awaited UK premiere this summer at The Other Palace
The double Tony Award winning Falsettos is a hilarious and poignant look at a modern family revolving around the life of a gay man Marvin, his wife, his lover, his soon to be bar mitzvahed son, their psychiatrist, and the lesbians neighbours. Originally created under the spectre of the AIDS crisis, this ground-breaking musical about family dynamics manages to remain buoyant and satirically perceptive even as it moves towards its heartbreaking conclusion. Selladoor Productions, producers of 9 to 5 The Musical, Big Fish, American Idiot and Avenue Q, bring Falsettos to London for the very first time serving as a timely reminder that love really is the most beautiful thing in the world. Music & Lyrics by William Finn Book by William Finn and James Lapine

Was a very good show, however some slight technical issues let the production down but the overall show was excellent.

Didn’t know what to expect ... was raw, personal and I lost it at the end... sobbed so I couldn’t applaud the amazing cast! Since don’t some research on other recordings ... this performance was way better!! Excellent!!

I had really high expectations before I went and it still managed to surpass them.

Falsettos was, and still is, my top musical. I was really excited to come and watch it for the first time and I was not disappointed. From the beautiful set, sound, and lighting, to the amazing cast. It was all so wonderful! We had young Albert as Jason and Matthew (the stand-in male) as Mendel and it was a perfect cast. I would recommend this show to anybody and everybody in the community as it was truly a work of art.

Falsettos was terrible we left half way through - as there seemed to be little 'passion' between the actors, and the young boy was terrible! The seats were also really uncomfortable being bolt upright

Although the production values were good, the script is not particularly satisfying. The action is disjointed and two characters suddenly appear out of nowhere. The script has not stood the test of time.

Great to see in London, after seeing earlier production in NY aeons ago.

The performers were great fantastic, but the storyline was a little disappointing, I think it could of done with a lot more humour in it,would of made it more fun

I came in blind to this musical. Never heard of it but now it will be a firm fave. Brilliant story...superb cast...I was in awe. Wanted so much to stage door but had to dash to catch train. The finale...saddest scene like ever...I sobbed so much i cdnt clap. Also thanks 4 upgrading my seats I dont know wat I did to deserve that but am grateful. Love this intimate theatre xx

Beautiful musical. Shame the theatre wasn't full up.

brilliant production with a brilliant cast plus the staff were lovely at the venue.

I thought the actors were fairly good, although there were a few moments where I felt the choreography was a bit awkward - particularly during the “Thrill of First Love” scene; I couldn’t feel the chemistry. The lighting was absolutely fantastic and was well suited for both the set and the action on stage. Although I wasn’t a massive fan of the rendition of March of the Falsettos (particularly the voice effect) I think the lighting was well suited for what was choreographed. Overall - it was a fantastic production and the actors did an amazing job.

An outstanding production. Don't think I have ever seen a show where the whole audience rose as one as soon as the lights came up for the bows. You were on your feet without thinking about it. A tremendous experience - but take a hanky.

Beautifully sung by everyone. Fun,lively, wonderful acting. Well worth seeing and hearing. The ending was a bit long and drawn out but not unexpected. Nice theatre as long as you don't suffer from vertigo.

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but brilliant performance by all the cast & thoroughly enjoyable! Would recommend. Row B stalls for £30, so very good value too!

Was not impressed. Didn’t like the male lead at all. The female lead ( who was actually the understudy) was very good. The boy had no charisma. The female lesbian ( not the one that played a Dr) couldn’t sing. All in all very disappointing. Stage set very boring. Shame as I was looking forward to seeing the show
