The Wedding Singer Tickets

London Musical
The Wedding Singer sees Kevin Clifton dance on to the Troubadour Wembley Park stage!
It’s 1985. Hair is huge, greed is good and rock-star wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s favourite wedding singer. Based on the Hollywood Blockbuster starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, this strictly limited run of The Wedding Singer sees multi-talented Strictly Come Dancing star Kevin Clifton (Dirty Dancing, Rock of Ages) take on the role of Robbie Hart. When his own fiancée dumps him at the altar a seriously bummed out Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Can sweet natured Julia and her best friend Holly lure Robbie out of the dumpster and back into the limelight? Or is he going to see her head off down the aisle with Wall Street bad boy Glenn? Don’t miss your chance to join the party of the year at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre!

A charming and very funny show with an excellent cast. Kevin Clifton is an endearing Robbie Hart, not only does he have a good voice but he can put a song across and his comic timing is spot on. Rhiannon Chesterman as his Julia is a petite powerhouse with a voice twice as big as her frame would suggest. Jonny Fines makes a splendidly obnoxious Glen. With 20+ songs in the show it was a great evening of music and dancing, we had such a good time and will be back during its limited run.

Very entertaining. Wow Kevin can sing! Lights that flashed straight in audience’s eyes a few times were off putting, but overall a great show.

Kevin was wonderful, very professional. Dancers were okay, could have been better. Quite an enjoyable evening.

The actors and actresses where amazing, as was their singing. The clothes were spot on and they played the characters brilliantly. But it just wasnt what we thought it was going to be. We knew it couldn't be like the film, and would have to be altered for theatre. But it was just to random for us. It felt like everyone had to burst into song every 5 seconds. Which I know a lot of people love, but not us. Venue was also great and staff etc.

We were disappointed with the show overall. The female said singers were good and Kevin has reasonable voice but his talent is dancing. We were disappointed he did not dance more. We felt the show was missing something, the first half felt flat although it improved the second half. There seemed a lot of scene changes and the screen over the top I felt was distracting. We also saw 9 to 5 and Tina Turner musicals this weekend as well as The Wedding Singer. The Wedding Singer was our least favourite and I don’t think I would recommend it

I loved it. Just the right amount of comedy, musical numbers, songs and drama. The dancing was wonderful. A fresh version of the original, which is one of my all time favourite movies.

Fantastic evening. Kevin Clifton makes a charming Robbie with a good voice and the ability to put a song across. Rhiannon Chesterman as Julia is sweet and funny. The cast and production ably support a classic love story. Singing, dancing and good comic timing. A real feelgood classic which will brighten your February.

Enjoyed the show but would not rush back (as I would with Les Mis, Saigon etc). Loved the theatre which is very local so is great from that point of view. What I would give 5 stars for though was the staff. Everyone was friendly, from door staff to box office to bar staff and those on the door to the actual auditorium. They were great. Thank you.
