The Worst Witch Tickets

London Musical
The Worst Witch disappears from the West End 8 September, book your tickets now!
Long before Harry Potter, there was Mildred Hubble. An ordinary girl who found herself in an extraordinary place: a school for witches. Now in her final year, accident prone Mildred and her fellow pupils are about to embark on their biggest and most important adventure yet... Jealous Ethel Hallow is always out to spoil Mildred’s fun. Miss Hardbroom is opposed to all fun in general. And just as Mildred sparks some inevitable mayhem certain to upset them both, an old enemy returns with a plan for revenge that could threaten not just the academy, but the whole world. Featuring all of Jill Murphy’s beloved characters, this thrilling new stage adaptation of The Worst Witch is written by Emma Reeves and directed by Theresa Heskins with original songs, music, magic and a dose of Mildred’s unique brand of utter pandemonium. Kenny Wax Family Entertainment, Novel Theatre and Nica Burns present a Royal & Derngate, Northampton Production.

Charming stage performance adapting the beloved books. The onstage “magic” was often made obvious in an endearing way that allowed my 6 yo to not only use her imagination but gave her ideas for playing pretend and making her own magic at home. And the “magic” that was NOT made obvious amazed and astounded her - she really believed it! She loved the whole performance.

A great show in a lovely intimate theatre. The theatre was air conditioned and very comfortable. The show was very enjoyable for three generations who have all enjoyed the books.

Good family fun. Kids loved it. Feels more ‘panto’ than ‘west end’ at times but overall a fun day out!

We took our older children 12,13,16. We thought the two younger ones would enjoy the show. And my husband and I grew up watching worst witch so we thought perfect. However we feel this show was aimed more at very younger children maximum age 6 or 7. It lacked in storyline and the songs were few. I have seen theatre shows before which we fully enjoyed and left the theatre feeling the overwhelmed by emotions of characters happy, sad etc. But I feel this show should have been had a age rating for 3-6 years or under as it was very silly. My children got bored and didn’t enjoy it they would normally never stop talking about a show they see on this occasion never mentioned it afterwards. The theatre is lovely. The character Ethal hallow was a fantastic actress she made for all the best bits aswell as Enid nightshade and the miss hardbroom was also was great. And the songs and storyline could of been better. Also my son wanted spells so maybe think about adding a bit more magic. But this really should have more of an obvious age rating so I wouldn’t of even booked it for my older children and instead went for something more age appropriate.

Awful show, far too expensive for the quality of the performance
