The Marriage of Figaro Tickets

London Opera
Figaro’s marriage is becoming a merry-go-round. Can they get off before it’s too late?
Wedding night four play and all the thrill of the chaste. Mozart’s comedy is a whirlwind of mistaken identities and twists and turns, taking place on a single crazy day – the wedding day of Figaro and Susanna. When their philandering master, Count Almaviva, is determined to bed Susanna before she is wed, Figaro and Susanna conspire with the rejected Countess to outwit him. General mayhem ensues, ending with the Count receiving a lesson in marital fidelity he’ll never forget. From the first notes of the bustling Overture, Mozart’s psychologically complex story portrays the women as wiser, shrewder and more civilised than the men. One of the most gifted directors of his generation, Joe Hill-Gibbins makes his main stage debut at ENO alongside conductor Kevin John Edusei. ENO Harewood Artist Božidar Smiljanić makes his role debut as Figaro, with a cast that includes sopranos Louise Alder and Sophie Bevan, and company favourites Andrew Shore and Susan Bickley. Co-production with Oper Wuppertal

I loved the production; acting and singing were excellent and the story was wonderfully humorous. Great atmosphere in the theatre too. Me and my guest (my mum) were very disappointed that the most famous song of the Opera was omitted - we appreciate that some pieces couldn't be included, but for the most iconic song not to be performed did rather dull our overall impression of the show.

Excellent performance of Marriage of Figaro. The singing was truly amazing especially from the countess performed by Lucy Crowe. Her voice was so pure and powerful, and all the cast sang beautifully. The stage set was very innovative and after you got used to the open structure, your imagination took over to tell the story. All in all a very entertaining and wonderful night at the opera!

Very good, excellent set, brilliant soprano. Music could be louder! (no expert). Soprano loud clear compared with other singers and the audience seemed to appreciate her the most. Did sit with the gods!

I think it disgraceful that you charge £125 for seats A37 &A38 that are so uncomfortable. For your customers sake please replace the seat which is soft, made up of ridges, old and unpleasant to sit on for 3 hours. NOT good at all. Please go and sit on them in temperatures of 26C+. When you have a full house. Will the manager please start managing Totally ruined a special birthday treat.

mediocre overall experience. Nice sound i have to say and amazing actors/singers. First part sublime, such amazing songs and acts. Second part we were pushed to a "cave", just because we went to the bathroom on the club next-door as the Coliseum as packed of people at break time, Came back and not only the doors were shut, also they did not let us take our seat on the last row of the seats, as we could annoy someone, so they took us into a basement next to the restaurant where there was no seats, only a few folding chairs and a TV, not a screen, a TV! So please if ever anyone will leave the Coliseum to use the bathroom, make sure you run, otherwise you will be locked outside! Give a 2 out of 5 because obviously the best part of the show we couldn't really watch/listen properly. But i still recommend.
