London Play
This is your last chance to see Alex Kingston in the smash-hit Admissions
Admissions is a new play by Joshua Harmon (Bad Jews, Significant Other) that explodes the ideals and contradictions of liberal white America. Sherri Rosen-Mason (Alex Kingston) is head of the admissions department at a New England prep school, fighting to diversify the student body. Alongside her husband, the school's Headmaster, they've largely succeeded in bringing a stodgy institution into the twenty-first century. But when their only son sets his sights on an Ivy League university, personal ambition collides with progressive values, with convulsive results.

The cast were very committed and it must be very interesting for them each night as I am sure some audiences laugh in different areas than others. Support monologues were outstanding. Enjoyed it overall .

Admissions is the best new play i've seen for a long time. It works on so may levels and is uncompromising. My friends and I couldn't stop talking about it. Wonderful acting without exception. Would go again!

We absolutely loved it. Fantastic performances all round. A very relevant tale of the hypocrisy of the middle classes. A most powerful performance by the character of the son absolutely barnstorming.

Funny, thought provoking and exceedingly topical script that was exceedingly well executed on all levels. Audience in laughter but also quite contemplation much of the time. Some of references to USA colleges will be lost of on other countries but point of dialogue between characters still valid. Thoroughly happy to recommend.
