DO NOT GET RESTRICTED VIEW SEATS IN ROW AA YOU CAN NOT SEE ANYTHING. OUR ENTIRE ROW GAVE UP TRYING TO SEE ANYTHING AND HAD TO MAKE DO WITH JUST LISTENING TO THE ACTORS, LIKE A RADIO PLAY. THE THEATRE VENUE SHOULD NOT BE SELLING THESE SEATS AT ALL. WE DID GET A GLIMPSE OF THE PERFORMANCE, IF WE LEANED RIGHT OUT OVER THE BALCONY, BUT SITTING IN OUR SEAT WE COULD NOT EVEN SEE THE STAGE, AND THIS IS NO EXAGGERATION, THE PEOPLE NEXT TO US ALSO SAID THESE SEATS SHOULD NOT BE USED. I HAVE ONLY RATED 5 STARS ? AS I DID NOT WANT TO DISCREDIT THE PERFORMANCE, AS IT WAS THE THEATRE VENUE SEATING THAT SPOILT EVERYTHING! THEATRE VENUE 1 STAR FOR ALLOWING THESE SEATS TO EVEN BE USED!!!!!!

A fantastic passionate performance with a stellar cast, glamourours costume and very imaginative set. A running time of 2 hour 10 without an internal was clearly a challenge for some patrions.

    Excellent acting and inventive staging.

Good production, great cast esp Lilly James very effective as Eve. We thought Gillian Anderson seemed a bit tired and worn out/ too thin?! Also her clothes not looking very glamorous for the portrait of a big star, esp the fake fur and evening gown. Also at the end there was only one group curtain call but no individual curtain call for Gillian and/ or Lilly James?! I think it would add a lot if the big stars get at least one curtain call, in a play about a big star and the world of theatre?! But otherwise a good production and a fresh look at a very well known play and movie. Best wishes Dierk.

Great performance! Fantastic actors! Go if you can.

After much anticipation, I was a little underwhelmed by All About Eve but can't put my finger on exactly why. The performances from all cast members were excellent, particularly Gillian Anderson, although my friend and I argued over whether Lily James was well-cast in the role of Eve. Maybe it was just a combination of a bland set and too-stark lighting with only average sound quality, or maybe just a well-worn story. A little too forgettable the morning after.

A great night out, a chilling play. Gillian Andersen holds the role beautifully and complemented by Lilly Allen who is terrifying. Don't miss it

A lot of the acting was flat. Which was shocking considering the original play is anything but. It also seemed they were still getting comfortable with their lines and it was like delivering the lines rather than acting and embodying then. I also did not like the staging with action happening in an enclosed “bathroom “ and “ kitchen “ being filmed and shown on a screen. Terrible really.

I really enjoyed this play. So glad we booked early because I can see why it was a sell out.

Excellent performances. Note that the stalls under the balcony have obstructed views, as images are projected above the stage. We were in row T and couldn't see the whole screen.

Script was okay but took a while to get going.

Absolutely loved it. Lily James was outstanding.

This production is better than the film with Bett Davis, in my opinion. Gillian Anderson is more elegant and suitable for this role. Excellent staging, good classical theatre. What I will never understand is why(!) the cloakroom charges money (!) and in cash (!). If you want to charge me for my bag (which is really mercantile, I disliked this when I was in Vienna Opera), just add that pound to the ticket price! This is disrespectful treatment of visitors. I was running later after work, and I had to dig into my pockets to find some coins, as I rarely use cash in London. Really, how much profit did you get from that charge? Only bad impression!

Really good production, Not a pastiche of the film, Good performances and interesting staging that helped the storytelling. I got annoyed by the cameras in the dining room scene but this was the only time it felt gimmicky. Loved "Karen" thought her journey was the most interesting. Not so taken with Lily James as Eve, Never found her endearing enough at the beginning. The soundtrack initially is distracting but works later on.
