Death of a Salesman Tickets

London Play
Sharon D. Clarke and Wendell Pierce in Death of a Salesman at the Piccadilly Theatre
Following a sold out run at the Young Vic theatre, the smash hit, critically acclaimed production of Death of a Salesman transfers to the west end for 10 weeks only "I don't say he's a great man…but he's a human being, and a terrible thing is happening to him. So attention must be paid. He's not to be allowed to fall in his grave like an old dog. Attention, attention must finally be paid to such a person." Following her recent award-winning successes on Company and Angels in America, Marianne Elliott co-directs Death of a Salesman with Miranda Cromwell, who worked as Associate Director on both shows. Together, they bring a unique vision to one of the greatest plays of the twentieth century, seen through the eyes of an African-American family.

    Absolutely brilliant!

The Arthur Miller script speaks for itself, setting within a back family was an interesting spin. Overall powerful, but some of the characters (the two sons) overstated aspects of acting at times which diminished elements of pathos and credibility.

The show ran on way too long!! Over 3 hours which meant we missed a dinner reservation!! Way too slow of a story. Uncomfortable seats in row E in dress circle.

Fantastic adaptation the staging added a real sense of place and the surreal which was a difficult trick Lead was great but the character of the mother felt the most real

Very gripping performances from all the characters. Very enjoyable, though the ending was very sad.

Outstanding performances, and modern set design utilised brilliantly.

Wendell Pierce and the whole cast were brilliant. The play worked perfectly in the setting of a black family.

Was well received by the audience. Good production, simple set was cleverly manipulated. I think I would have liked more variation in pace, perhaps, and tone, for some scenes, it seemed always a bit full-on.
