Ian McKellen On Stage Tickets
London Play
Do not miss Ian McKellen live on stage at the Harold Pinter TheatreIAN MCKELLEN ON STAGE IN LONDON with Tolkien, Shakespeare, others and YOU Directed by Sean Mathias “Taking this new Show to 80+ theatres around the country, has been a joyful birthday present to myself. I’ve played mainly in theatres I knew well as a young theatregoer and actor. On my birthday, I was in Bolton Town Hall where my dad used to work. It began last February with 15 theatres in Greater London and will end in Orkney. Soon I will be back in London, for a limited season in the West End, raising much-needed funds for theatre charities. For each performance at the Harold Pinter Theatre, I’m glad that there will be 80 tickets at just £10. As for the show? Ask someone who’s seen it. Come and find out.” Ian McKellen “The theatre event of the year” The Telegraph. ‘Warmth, wit and wizardry. In a line of 20th century legends including Gielgud and Olivier. Come one, come all and marvel’ The Telegraph

Ian Mckellen is a giant of theatre and film. To share stories from his fascinating life and to see him deliver pieces from his work was a delight and privilege. Fab evening.

I really enjoyed the performance. Two good halves rather than the shorter 1.20 that a lot of one person shows are. Great value, witty, funny and expertly delivered, a true master of his craft. So glad I saw it, thank you Sir Ian

Great show but Harold Pinter theatre was intolerable with whole audience dripping with sweat on a September evening.Polite staff had no ability to open window on stairwells as painted shut. Really detracted from ability to enjoy Ian McKellen’s great performance in second half

An excellent presentation by Ian of his Love of the theatrical from a very young age and throughout his life in film and theatre, quoting excerpts from them, the friends he made along the way and other people who were not so friendly . You can still see Ian’s passion and love for the theatre has not diminished in any way This great actor is not to be missed.

Amazing fun and laughter. Ian oozed with enthusiasm and passion for his life long love of acting. Great character performances and even song. And quite an unexpected educational seminar on Shakespeare. I just want to study English literature now. An absolutely delightful evening in this legends company, Ian you are a national treasure

The show was incredible, however there was a huge amount of noise being made by the staff behind the royal circle seating area. It was extremely distracting for many of us which was disappointing.

Amazing. Great actor at work. First saw him at the Billingham Forum over 30 years ago in Dr Faustus. He’s done well since then.
