The Mousetrap Tickets

London Play
A West End staple for 65 years, The Mousetrap is the longest consistently running play in British theatre history.
The Mousetrap is famous around the world for being the longest running show of any kind in the history of British theatre. The scene is set when a group of people gathered in a country house cut off by the snow discover, to their horror, that there is a murderer in their midst. Who can it be? One by one the suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts until at the last, nerve-shredding moment the identity and the motive are finally revealed. In her own inimitable style, Dame Agatha Christie has created an atmosphere of shuddering suspense and a brilliantly intricate plot where murder lurks around every corner.

Great show. Great old Theater. I would recommend this show to anyone. The theater has small legroom for people with long legs. Get an aisle seat if you need legroom.

It was so much fun. There was not a bad seat in the house. It was great to be able to see the world's longest running play.

Purchased tickets online they arrived safely. Found the play Mousetrap to be very entertaining thoroughly enjoying the plot and discovering the 'who done it' ........ The production has been going for over 60 years - credit to them....... I believe a change of venue may be in order one day as I found the venue to be very musty and tired. I know that the venue adds to the character for the show.

Slow moving, almost boring, and stuffy - like the theatre. If you like 1950's BBC dramas on a B&W TV, you probably like this show.

Enjoyed the show - was looking for a true West End theater experience and found it.

I and my grandson 11 years came from Sweden and really liked the performance. We would have liked the actors to talk a little slowlier, because it was a little difficult for us to understand what they said some times. I have lived i New Yourk and have been speaking English for many years. but still it was a little difficult even for me to get everything. There are many foreingers who go to see your performance!! Thank you

Show was brilliant, however, seats were very cramped. Legs really painful by end of the play

    Great time and great cast

  • Review Avatar Dec 16, 2015

Very wordy play, over acted with no particular actor standing out against the rest, old-fashioned and totally boring. Noticed a few seats not returned after interval. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

What an excellent production, throughly enjoyable, kept us guessing to the end. Would strongly recommend

Lovely quaint little theatre, thoroughly enjoyable bubbly show, lovely relaxed atmosphere and happy friendly staff......Oh and a very handy little bar in the stalls

My wife and I enjoyed the production. In the third row of the stalls the pace seemed a bit frenetic at times but that may have been necessary to project the action further back. It also seemed to me that there may have been some editing as I spotted a couple of non sequiturs. It was a nice part of the denouement that a wedding anniversary was involved, as this was an anniversary treat for us. For the rest, our lips are sealed! We thought the theatre was lovely.

The plot of the Mousetrap was rather unbelievable, but we enjoyed the performance and the venue at St. Martins theatre.
