The show itself is a very, very well acted play and most enjoyable. We went to a matinee performance and there were a load of school kids there which is absolutely fine but they need to be told not to open bottles of fizzy drinks and eat crisps with rustling bags!.....especially as tension builds in the play. It was just a bit distracting!

First time seeing The Woman in Black at the Fortune Theatre. The play was fantastic throughout and very jumpy in parts both actors were brilliant. I would see it again if asked.

Very slow in the first half but getting better.

The theatre was small and intimate, which made the play even more eerie. I had doubts about the 2 man play, but I have to say I was very impressed. It had slight humor, but was still able to give me goosebumps.

The actors were brilliant, but by having seen the the film version first I was disappointed by the theatre version.

My friends and I thought it was extremely slow to start and the first half could have been undertaken much quicker to keep the audience entrenched in the story. Instead we did not return for the second part, sorry. we were really looking forward to this as this was our annual trip to London from Wales and Scotland,

Play was great, actors did a great job. I'm marking down only because the Fortune Theatre was so physically uncomfortable. There was no legroom at all and having to sit in a contorted position for so long became a distraction. I am 6'2", but my son at 6' had the same problem. Make sure you sit next to a shorter person who is willing to share her leg space with you. Finally, it should not cost GBP 4 to get a program which really contains only minimal information about the cast and crew and otherwise just a bunch of ads.

Have seen the film with Daniel Radcliffe and thought it was very good, so decided to come and see the play. I can honestly say it was brilliant. The cast - all 2 of them - were very good. It made quite a few people jump especially when the actual Woman in Black made several appearances. This play is very well worth seeing

I bought two tickets the day before for a birthday treat. I got very good seats, excellent view, at short notice, and the price was reasonable, very happy with the prices. Printed off the email confirmation and the tickets were ready for me to collect at the door. Enjoyable play, nice evening. I would use this sevice again. Very happy.

Really enjoyed the setting - lovely small theatre. The actors were superb and kept the suspense going. Thoroughly entertaining evening.

Excellent acting. We were thoroughly pulled into the story. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a spine-tingling thriller. I just wish the seats had a bit more knee room. I had to sit in the splits. Ouch!

Lovely theatre, well presented storyline but lacking in atmosphere and definitely NOT scary. Disappointing as I anticipated a really scary performance which was not delivered.

Having watched the film we wondered how they were going to act this out. We were very impressed by both actors who switched quickly to another character.....such flow!

Everything- production, direction, acting and atmosphere was absolutely first class. Same goes for the theatre staff who were excellent.

The play was extremely well acted and enjoyable. The theatre itself needs a bit of TLC and there is not much room for your knees! Could be uncomfortable for taller members of the audience.
