Witness for the Prosecution Tickets

London Play
Agatha Christie's bone-chilling drama Witness for the Prosecution is presented in a perfect courtroom setting.
Step inside the magnificent surroundings of London County Hall and experience the intensity and drama of Agatha Christie’s gripping story of justice, passion and betrayal in a unique courtroom setting. Leonard Vole is accused of murdering a widow to inherit her wealth. The stakes are high - will Leonard survive the shocking witness testimony, will he be able to convince the jury, and you of his innocence and escape the hangman’s noose? PLEASE NOTE: Latecomers may not be permitted. Please allow extra arrival time as there are multiple entrances to the seating area once inside the theatre. A note about Gallery Tickets: Access to the original Public Galleries is up a flight of stairs, with no lift access. Once at Gallery level, the steps to access Rows C and D are steep. Seats in Row A have narrow access due to the original features of the grade II listed galleries. These seats may not be suitable for patrons with access requirements or vertigo sufferers. We advise that patrons with access requirements check with theatre's box office before purchasing Gallery tickets. There are no toilets on the Gallery level. Courtroom Stalls is the preferred level for seating.

Smashing, wonderful, well done. Love the venue, amazingly comfortable and (you won't believe this) roomy seating!!!!! YES, YES, YES 1

Brilliantly imaginative setting; well produced and great performances. Having the audience sat around the stage meant we could focus on what was happening in a small space, and credit must also go to the lighting and sound directors. Very atmospheric and extremely efficient use of the stage/set. Also loved the cast changing the set between acts being dressed in brown overalls. Great show, best one I've seen for ages.

Brilliant!!! In true Agatha Christie style the twist at the end was great. As well as a brilliant performance the setting was amazing and and really made it. Not to be missed.

A fast moving production, set in a court room. Seats are rather narrow in the gallery, but the view is great, the seats look much more comfortable and spacious in the stalls. Actors are great, I would definitely see this again.

Great time ! Some seats have a limited visibility though be careful

The play is excellent. The space is incredible too, however, as it is not a theatre it has its problems. Some seats have difficult access and restricted view and the accoustics can be a bit blurred some times. Amplification is used and its mostly OK but there are moments speech lacks clarity. The production however is very enjoyable.

The venue and setting for this play was perfect and leant to the suspense. Great acting and loved the use of placing the cast in the audience. Good acting and plot twist led to a very enjoyable time.

Walking into the auditorium you just think 'Wow!' The courtroom set up, and being in the thick of it is quite breath-taking. The play itself is well acted with some very good performances, particularly from the QCs and the Judge. Not so impressed by our 'villainess' and of course Agatha Christie is always so convoluted that plot twists can be too obvious, convoluted or both but I really would recommend this as a night at the theatre with a difference.
